Our experienced Organisational Development Specialists work with organisations and their leaders to understand, measure and resolve issues that may be impacting on an employees or leaders ability to thrive in their work environment. Our EAP packages allow organisations to support employees struggling with work related issues or personal and family issues with a qualified and registered psychologist, reducing staff absenteeism, presenteeism and increasing productivity. We are also able to provide Critical Incident Management with a highly skilled psychologist to provide early intervention and support to employees and leaders to deal with traumatic events and planned or unplanned change.

Individual and Team Assessments

Individual and Team assessments involve working with the organisation to identify training and development needs for individuals, teams and/or the whole organisation. Our individual assessments can identify employees or leaders who are most at risk of stress or mental health issues in order to minimise and mitigate risk to the individual, team and organisation.

Our team assessments can identify how individual team members work together by focusing on how the team interacts, what processes are in place, area for learning and growth and identifying how individual personalities may impact on team performance both positively and negatively. Our team assessments include a one on one session with each employee within the team and once the assessment is complete, a debrief session will be provided to management to provide recommendations.

Conflict resolution and Mediation

Conflict can be found in many work places.  When resolved appropriately and effectively, conflict can have a positive effect on relationships between employees and consequently the organisation.   However, if ignored or not addressed efficiently, workplace conflict can impact multiple areas of the organisation including, the health and wellbeing of staff, productivity, staff retention and increase the risk of claims of bullying.

Having skills and plans in place to manage and reduce the impact of workplace conflict is critical.  Insights team of highly trained and experienced psychologists can assist leaders in reviewing and addressing problematic workplace interactions such as bullying harassment, interpersonal conflict and performance issues with the goal of resolving conflict but also highlighting issues that may be occurring within the organisation.

Leadership/Executive Coaching

Leadership coaching is a collaborative partnership between a leader and the coach.  A leader in this context is anyone who is in charge or responsible for a group of people whether they are an Executive, Manager, Team Leader, Supervisor or Business Owner.  The aim of the collaboration is to support the leader improve their working and personal life by focusing on areas such as personal and professional wellness, enhancing leadership skills, productivity, team performance and dynamics, planning, instigating or facilitating change, increasing interpersonal skills and delivering effective feedback.

Corporate Workshops and Training

Insight offers workshops that are evidence based and engaging allowing for discussions, confidence and skills building and an increase in knowledge. We provide workshops that focus on areas such as performance, culture, leadership, wellbeing and family. Our workshops are designed as 1 hour sessions aimed at raising awareness, 2 to 4 hour sessions aimed at building foundational skills and full day sessions aimed at extensively developing the skills of employees or leaders.  We are also able to customise and tailor or develop workshops that are specific to your organisation’s needs.

  • 1 hour workshop – We provide a series of workshops that range in topics and are focused on providing awareness to issues that arise in the workplace or personally which may impact an employees’ mental health and wellbeing. These workshops provide basic knowledge and understanding to allow for conversation and encourage participants to access help if required, so that work life performance is optimised.
  • 2-4 hour workshops – We provide a series of 2 to 4 hour sessions that focus on extending an employee or leader’s awareness and knowledge that is obtained in the 1 hour sessions and provide an opportunity to develop skills and implement these skills in order to create change. These workshops instill confidence related to a range of workplace and personal issues so that each employee or leader can practice the skills learned and increase their capability and performance.
  • Full day workshops – We provide full day workshops that are designed to be in depth and comprehensive in a topic that has been identified as relevant to an organisation such as work culture, personal or family life, performance, leadership, managing mental health, building resilience and general wellbeing to name a few. Each full day workshop is designed to build knowledge, skills and confidence by challenging employees and/or leaders to use the skills learned and apply them to case studies in the session and also to walk away with a toolbox of skills and strategies they can apply in their everyday work and home life.

Wellness Checks

Insights highly trained and experienced psychologists can work with your organisation to develop programs to improve employee wellbeing, commitment and engagement through assessment, debriefing or coaching and training.  In addition, we can support the development of policies and practices to support better management of the work-home balance.

EAP

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential short term counselling service offered by employers to support their employees with work related or personal issues impacting on their performance. Depending on the employer’s arrangement, EAP may also extend to immediate family members.

At  Insight , we offer initial support and assistance to individuals who have personal and/or work related issues that may impact on their well-being, work performance, safety, team culture and mental health. EAP counselling is focused on assisting employees to understand and gain clarity on issues that may be concerning them and provide strategies to address these issues.

Critical Incident Management

Insight offers professional psychological support for management and employees in the case of trauma or critical incidents that may be planned or unplanned affecting employee or workplace wellbeing. It’s an opportunity for early intervention and support to employees, leaders and executives during a difficult time.

After a critical incident, a person’s mental health well-being may be impacted and it is common for an employee to feel alone and helpless.
